One nitpick on their sign out flow.

As I was signing out, I noted the Auto-renew option was not selected.

Great. However, when I continued to pay, I was inexplicably set to auto-renew.

What is going on here? It appears that the sub-selections on the previous screen trigger auto-renew on their own.

Why it matters: The standard UI pattern is that sub-selections don’t matter if the top box is unchecked. Indenting options so the user ignores them and then treating them as first class choices breaks standard UI design.

It’s a sneaky way to increase the number of people who sign up for auto-renew. It’s a pain to backtrack and unselect. So the past of least friction is to leave it turned on.
